Heckler & Koch (H&K) Germany came out with a new "High-Reliability 30-Round Steel Magazine" for use with AR-15 / M-16 / M-4 / SA-80 type rifles. See picture below.
Our standard M-16 LULA™ loader & unloader fits and works well with this new magazine.
Setback:
However, since this magazine catch (female) is not a through-hole as in regular NATO USGI M-16 mags., for which the LULA™ loader was originally designed, the LULA™ loader may slip away prematurely from the magazine. This may start happening after loading / unloading several hundred magazines.
Solution:
Either use the M-16 LULA™ knowing its limits, or use the our latest M-16 / AR-15 M-16 StripLULA™ which will load this magazine perfectly for a long time.

M16/AR15 Lula Testimony
Torture Test, October 23, 2009 By Nedgo from California I gave one of these to my son who is in the Marine Corps, he was going into SOI (School of Infantry)... After he got home months later, I asked him about it, he said he used almost daily with live rounds and blanks. Just as much as loading, he said that being able to unload mags was a very valuable feature as they did not necessarily use everything during an exercise. He loved it and it saved a lot of wear and tear on his fingers / thumbs. He was already tired and it made a tedious task that much easier. His fellow Marines asked about it and where they could get one! If it can make it through Marine Corp training that is a better review than anything I can do to it out here! Great piece of gear, I have purchased a few more for some of his Marine buddies going overseas.

BushMaster Firearms International, LLC. provides this magazine with their 9mm Pistol & Carbines.

Our standard COLT SMG LULA™ loader/unloader fits and works well with this magazine (apart from loading the first round).
Setback:
Since the magazine's catch (female) of the new ProMag mag. is made of polymer, and since the Colt LULA™ uses an internal metal lock insert, the top edge of the magazine's catch may be rounded-off by the metal insert of the LULA™ sliding on it. Therefore the loader may slip away prematurely from the magazine. This may happen to the magazine after loading it 50-100 times (1,500 - 3,000 rounds).
Solution:
When attaching the LULA™ on this magazine, slightly lift the Lock-Tongue of the LULA™ so it will move over the top edge of the magazine's catch, and not slide on it. When detaching the LULA™ from the magazine, push the LULA™ down on the magazine so that the metal lock insert of the LULA™ will be down away from the top edge of the magazine's catch (female), and lift the LULA™ up while at it. Basically, you need to make the metal lock insert of the LULA™ move over the magazine's catch and not slide on it.
Following these instructions may reduce the rounding-off of the top edge of the magazine's catch, but may not eliminated it completely. Regularly Inspect the magazine's catch of the ProMag polymer magazine, and prefer using the original COLT'S MFG. 9mm metal magazines.
